Features of 5005 Aluminum Sheet / Plate
1. Medium intensity. Similarly, 5005 aluminum plate/plate is a non heat treated alloy, and its strength is improved by cold working.
2. Good formability. Under the condition of semi cold work hardening or annealing, the plasticity of 5005 aluminum alloy is better, but the strength increases and the plasticity is lower during cold work.
3. Excellent weather resistance. The strength of 5005 aluminum plate with anodized surface does not decrease with the decrease of temperature. Low temperature brittleness does not occur
4. Physical properties. Tensile strength of 5005 aluminum σ B (MPA) is 100 ~ 205, elongation δ 110 (%) is 1 ~ 8.

5005 aluminum plate belongs to 5000 series aluminum magnesium alloy, but the magnesium content of the main alloy is lower than other 5000 series alloy plates, so its corrosion resistance is slightly higher than that of 3-Series alloy. Among them, the performance of 5005 aluminum alloy is similar to that of 3000 Series 3003 aluminum alloy, with moderate strength, good fusibility, good processability and formability, but its anodic oxidation effect is better than that of 3003 aluminum alloy, with brighter oxide film and the same color as 6063 aluminum alloy!
